Salsa
Basingstoke is run by Alchemy Dance Academy. Directors
Marchant Birch & Davina,
are one of the UK salsa scene's finest teaching and
performing couples. The Academy is based at Oakridge
Hall in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Marchant & Davina
are resident every Thursday evening running classes
and courses for absolute beginners to advanced students

COURSE starts Thursday 9th July 2009
We
also offer a variety of services including corporate
packages, events, private lessons
at our studio in Winchester, Hampshire, and regular
workshops on a variety of aspects of dancing salsa.
We can also provide choreography and tuition for wedding
dances. Please follow the links on the right for full

Our
aim on courses, workshops and private lessons is to
provide you
with take-away tools and exercises to practice on your
own.
This puts you
in control of your own dance development.

We co-host this monthly Sunday event at the atmospheric Jazz Cafe, Reading. There are salsa classes at all levels and Cha Cha classes at 2 levels. The club then runs until 12 midnight with DJs Basil and Davina playing the coolest salsa, mambo, cha cha, and afro latin jazz. Click here for more info |
