Salsa Basingstoke is run by Alchemy Dance Academy. Directors Marchant Birch & Davina, are one of the UK salsa scene's finest teaching and performing couples. The Academy is based at Oakridge Hall in Basingstoke, Hampshire, and is open every Tuesday & Thursday evening with classes and courses for all levels.

The MAD Salsa Bootcamps are residential weekends of salsa training exclusively with Marchant & Davina. Each one is designed specifically for the level advertised so you can train in an intimate and relaxed environment with other dancers of a similar level. 2 full days of workshops, 2 evenings of social/practice dancing incorporating Marchant & Davina's 'Salsa Surgery' where they will be on hand to give individual help with your dancing. This is a unique opportunity for you to intensively train for a whole weekend with Marchant & Davina. You will be the focus of the weekend, your dance development being the absolute priority.

INTERMEDIATE: 25-27 March 2011 - BOOKING OPEN!
ADVANCED: 5-7 November 2010 (SOLD OUT)
ON2 & CHA CHA: 25-27 February 2011 - BOOKING OPEN!

	We co-host this monthly Sunday event at the atmospheric Jazz Cafe, Reading. There are salsa classes at all levels and Cha Cha classes at 2 levels. The club then runs until 12 midnight with DJ Davina and DJ Basil (Dance2Salsa) playing the coolest salsa, mambo, cha cha, and afro latin jazz. 	Several times a year we have this special event with Tracies Latin Club in Southampton. A 1.5 hour workshop with Marchant & Davina for Level 4/5 dancers, Level 2/3 class also available with Tracie/Marcus. Then club with DJ Grooves and DJ Davina. We offer a variety of services including corporate packages, events, private lessons at our studio in Winchester, Hampshire, and regular workshops on a variety of aspects of dancing salsa.
