Salsa
Basingstoke is run by Alchemy Dance Academy. Directors
Marchant Birch & Davina,
are one of the UK salsa scene's finest teaching and
performing couples. The Academy is based at Oakridge
Hall in Basingstoke, Hampshire, and is open every Tuesday & Thursday evening with classes
and courses for all levels.

We
offer a variety of services including corporate
packages, events, private lessons
at our studio in Winchester, Hampshire, and regular
workshops on a variety of aspects of dancing salsa.
We can also provide choreography and tuition for wedding

Our
aim on courses, workshops and private lessons is to
provide you
with take-away tools and exercises to practice on your
own.
This puts you
in control of your own dance development.

We co-host this monthly Sunday event at the atmospheric Jazz Cafe, Reading. There are salsa classes at all levels and Cha Cha classes at 2 levels. The club then runs until 12 midnight with DJ Davina and DJ Basil (Dance2Salsa) playing the coolest salsa, mambo, cha cha, and afro latin jazz.

Several times a year we have this special event with Tracies Latin Club in Southampton. A 1.5 hour workshop with Marchant & Davina for Level 4/5 dancers, Level 2/3 class also available with Tracie/Marcus. Then club with DJ Grooves and DJ Davina.
